Wilfred Strunk Sr., 72, of Pawtucket, RI passed away on December 16th 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Wilfred was born July 8th, 1948 to Aurora Strunk. He was a sergeant in the Vietnam War who received 2 bronze medals serving his time in the military. He loved spending his time at the casino playing slot machines and attending bingo. He was a beloved father to his kids Wilfred Strunk Jr., and wife Brenda Strunk, Dawn Strunk, Milissa Strunk and Kevin Smith, Jesse Strunk,Timmy Strunk and Holly Lemire and Christina Herron. He also he is survived by his sister, Jeannette Matthews and her husband Lamar, a brother Alfred Behney of South Carolina, 21 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his siblings, Alice Branigan and Rosalie E Adams. Visitation will be held Monday, December 20th in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Avenue, Lincoln RI from 5pm until 7pm.
Burial with military honors will be held Tuesday, December 21st at 1:30pm in the RI Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822. Attendees are asked to please assemble in the first parking lot on the right as you enter cemetery prior to 1:20pm.
